Artists and a web designer needed

CAUTION: This is for serious people only, this is a long post.



NOTICE* All names are subject to change based on agreement between artist and me, I simply gave a lot of names out so some of them are poorly thought out.



Okay well this is just like most of those “need artist” posts however my offer is serious and I've offered the world that I've created. I still haven't revealed the plot line but I've revealed how everything works, the countries, the characters and who they are and how they look like, I've also drawn a map of the world for visual reference. By world I mean the continent that this story takes place on because the rest of the world is simply inaccessible. I've also detailed how “magic” or as I'm temporarily calling it in this, “power,” works. I would write the episodes and you (maybe you guys) would draw the story. We would split any revenue accordingly, as it is my intellectual property I would decide how the profits are split amongst all helpers of the group. But most likely all profits would be split evenly such as a 3person joint project, everyone gets 33.333%. Etc. Also, though it'd be nice to attempt to publish this, if anything we will create a web-series in which we'd all do this on our free time for fun and maybe eventually get picked up. Also, this is obviously not all the details but these are all details that I thought to be important to put up while searching for an artist.

Manga-artist(s) (for the manga): You should be average or above average in drawing skill and capable of depicting extremely dark scenes. By dark I mean extremely devious, sinister, and heartless moments. Unlike most manga this will feature very little comic relief. We will most likely not color in the scenes, but who knows.



I don't believe I'd need any more than this.

Introduction:



Okay well the setting is very grim, war is everywhere, the world is wrapped in conspiracy. Continue reading as the explanations are extremely specific!



Aging in this story:

Essentially the more “god-like” you are the slower you age. I've compared it once to the function of f(x)= sqrt(x) meaning the older you get, the slower you age, eventually the change in aging is so minimal that it doesn't occur. The Retross have yet to discover an age in which they die, however due to the catastrophic event where they lost control of their powers a large portion of the population died out, and many more simply died from misery. Others have yet to regain control of any amount of their power as they learned to use it without controlling it at all time.

How does Power (name pending) work in this?

First off there are four organs:

Tresto

Veltrox

Iriniu

Evengel



From top to bottom in power, the lower it is, the stronger it is.



Every child starts off with their Tresto un-sealed

The Veltrox is unsealed when promoted to CO (essentially triples power)

The Iriniu is unlocked when they become a Maven or Vice-Maven (multiplies original power by 13)

Evengel is forbidden, thus only the Keeper of the Citadel has it opened unleashing near infinite power.



The measure of power is measured in the sense that the ###### is how much power they produce per hour, but due to the nature of the body they aren't capable of story any of that energy. This is the reason why most soldiers in this world use alternate weaponry such as guns and swords, etc. in order to conserve their reservoir of energy.



The way in which people utilize their power is in two forms



Raw Form: Can be used instantly as it's always available to be called forth to block blows, essentially to be used as a physical property. The most popular use of raw power is to enhance muscle strength and the durability of skin, bones, etc. Therefore it actually allows people to fly through mountains like they do often in Anime and come out unscathed, and because of this they're capable of punching through walls, etc. without breaking their arms. Using power to enhance their muscles they're capable of running at high speeds or even using it to create a link between origin and external entities for brief moments therefore allowing wall running etc.



Controlled form: Through use of rune-gateways, what is called rune magic which takes the desired amount of raw power and transforms it into a force or simply function. So you can possibly create runes of protection, runes of fire, etc. Depending on how much energy you feed into the spell, the stronger the results.

How it works? Well you either have an inscription tattooed onto your body, or simply drawn, or have a signet, or piece of jewelry or weaponry with it. Or for more complex spells a caster uses raw energy to create “parchment” with which they spell out the spell via runes. Once it's manifested the parchment disappears when the spell's activated.

World Situation: The Retross Empire is pressed against the great lake and is facing annihilation in face of being destroyed by the Confederation is the most technologically sound force in the current world situation. The United front is pushing from the north west against the Retross as well via Gorilla warfare all the while aiding the Confederation with supplies and soldiers. The two have allied with each other and agreed to eventually unite the entire continent. As of right now the Retross are fighting a losing battle as due to their now limited power it takes longer to create powerful and capable soldiers. Also the Retross take longer to reproduce.

Countries:

Retross Empire: Originally consisted of only Retross, however as the years progressed it swallowed up other races going as far as the second generation off spring of Retross. This empire is mostly reliant on the power of their population as opposed to technological development however in recent times there's been a push for more tech power as guerrilla warfare is becoming increasingly popular making the elimination of powerful fighters significantly easier.



United Front: Consists of a various races ranging from human to distant relations to Retross (so distant that they're considered a different race), this country is keen on technology and how it may be enhanced via power (working title).



Confederation: Almost entirely made up of Humans and huge technological advancements. They create remote controlled weapons and use weapons and mechas. These guys are essentially creating methods of dispatching Retross with little to no risk for them.



Important note: All the countries are either modern (Retross) in technology meaning they have today's tech, with the exception of nuclear weapons, or they're somewhat futuristic (united front, confederation).

Tretor (Protagonist)

Sex: Male

Age: 28 (Looks like 15-ish)

Hair: Black or White, short either tousled or spiked

Skin tone: Pale

Height: 5'10” thru 6'1”

Weight: 155-ish lbs

Muscle Tone: Extremely well toned not bulky

Demeanor: Serious, Prodigy

Power level: >?80,000?

Attire: Due to his consistent missions in the field of special operations he doesn't even own a military uniform rather he prefers to wear a modified trench coat which can hold easy access ammunition, grenades, anything he really needs. He wears an “X” strap underneath his trench coat over his shirt that he's wearing which has four ammo clips for his dual 9 mm pistols which are strapped to this as well. On the back of his trench coat he has focused magnets which hold his rifle in place. On his hip he has a belt, on which he has his Katana strapped to, on back of which there's a third pistol. On his right thigh he has a strap holding a combat knife, on his two calves he has throwing daggers. He rotates through several different amulets on his neck generally holding a hidden rune on them.



Combat Style: Extremely efficient and rarely wastes time with an opponent, however if he cannot dispatch an enemy in a fast and clean manner he will fight defensively until he finds a weakness. He's also one of the most reliant characters on the art of rune-casting. He has also notable skill in ranged weaponry, more precisely in sniping as he has generally been a lone wolf.



Rosell: (Protagonist's “second”)

Sex: Female

Age: 98 (Looks 23)

Hair: Long to upper/middle back(Strawberry Blonde)

Skin Tone: Light to medium Tan

Height: 5'7”-5'9”

Weight: 120-130ish

Figure: Extremely taut, slightly busty but nothing too large.

Demeanor: Intelligent however extremely optimistic, compassionate

Power level: 65,000

Attire: She likes to wear a micro-Kevlar suit which renders the majority of bullets useless. She has a “plates” of polyethylene covering vital organs an areas that have no joins. She has them on her forearms for defensive combat against an armed enemy. She does not fight with a Katana but rather with a Kusarigama-based weapon but rather it's a sickle on one side and a mini-morning star on the other for the ability to fight short ranged and long range. She sometimes wears a polyethylene helmet in general combat situations.

Combat Style: Extremely aggressive and passionate, she rarely is considerate or tactical and relies on her skills in the lost art of her weapon to carry her through battles along with brute force.



Orino: (Secondary Protagonist)

Sex: Male

Age: 159 (Looks 28)

Hair: Bald

Skin Tone: Pretty pale with a hint of tan

Height: 5'11

Weight: 185

Muscle tone: Above average muscle tone, but not ridiculously buff.

Demeanor: Shy, modest, thoughtful

Power Level: 89,000

Attire: Due to his lack of combat over the last two decades he's shifted his attire to be more formal and wears a military uniform.



Combat Style: He rarely fights but when he does he fights in the art Jujitsu enhanced through impact triggered rune spells, he has double plated fore-arms and shins and soles. During this style of combat he wears Kevlar armor similar to Rosell.



Ezerious: (Antagonist)

Sex: Male

Age: 632 (41)

Hair: Rather short, has a “power hair cut”, it's gray

Skin Tone: Pale

Height: 6'2”

Weight: 170

Muscle Tone: Non-existent, just very skinny

Demeanor: Cold, Calculating, unforgiving, intense

Power Level: 7,000

Attire: Council Robes/Pajamas depending on whether or not he's too tired to change just like most councilors.



Combat style: He doesn't fight, he simply schemes.



There are of course other characters but it's too much to write about on a simple forum post.

History of Universe of “Legend of Tretor” (this is just general back story, probably unnecessary):



The multiverse was created when the god Dzios became self aware. The universe is an extension of his consciousness. It is simply put his imagination because he is it, and it is him. In this multiverse after much debated boredom he creates the first league of Gods. After thousands of years of a father-son relationship though the league begins to grow tired of the grim reality that they're not actually in charge of reality or even in charge of their fates. They realize that in order to separate the universe from being bound to Dzios is to simply kill that segment of his existence off and separate the reality from the whims of Dzios. In one of the few verses Dzios is indeed “killed” off and the verse goes off on an tangent where it is ruled by the League. The league creates mankind in their image, except they create them as purely corporeal versions of themselves holding no true power alone.



Of course the verse gets messed up by the mistakes of a few gods having sex with humans, many of the children get killed off by the gods prior to birth or shortly after but a few manage to live on. These creations are the Unclero who eventually mated with the Humans creating the Retross. The Retross are the first actual Demi-gods. The Unclero attempt to lead a war against the League alone but get mostly slaughtered killing off only a small portion of the League. The Retross mate with another and eventually create a race of people thousands in number. The reason they outgrow the League in size is because of their consistent disputes within the league and much more difficult mating process. Needless to say that eventually the Retross overthrow the League and install themselves as the rulers of the Verse trying to rule the humans fairly, inter-breading is allowed and happens quite peacefully. However after thousands of years of fair rule a somewhat odd occurrence happens and the Humans get flooded with immense powers and attempt to overthrow the Retross, they fail after years of battle but the battle gives way to hostility to present day.



Eight hundred-ish years prior to day of story though the Retross lose control of their near-boundless power and begin to blow up in a similar way to how nukes explode. The few Retross survivors are those who manage to “seal” their power in time. The reason for loss of control is unknown. Each Retross born from that point on is given three seals to unseal as they progress in control. Present day involves the Confederation, The Retross Empire, and the empire of the United front.
