Web site designer needed
I need a good web design professional. The initial job is to redesign our web site (connectpr.com). The secondary reason is that we need a partner that we can use for our clients when they have web projects. Some of the clients are smaller start-ups (15 to 50 employees), while others are Fortune 100 companies.
Here are the requirements:
1. Experience. You need to have a solid portfolio of B2B websites. Not so much eCommerce, more B2B education and capabilities.
2. You need to have a network of people you use for the various subdisciplines (like Flash, etc.)
3. You need to be able to work as part of a bigger team that includes messaging, content, SEO and other talent.
4. You need to be the kind of consultant that delivers what you promise on time and on budget. Notice I didn't say fast and cheap. On time and on budget will do just fine.

I'm currently looking for someone who is interested in being a part of a project that I am starting that has serious potential to make big waves in the live music industry. Here's the deal: I'm a junior in the Music Industry Studies program at Loyola University in New Orleans, LA. We are currently wrapping up development on our Facebook RPG, we are behind on artwork so we are looking to pick up one or two additional artists to fill the gaps. Depending on the working relationship we develop, we would be open to bring on the artists full time after the game launches and our revenues support it.
Compensation:
We are willing and able to provide compensation up front, in addition to back end compensation. We will put the mutually agreed upon terms in writing, we already have a template in place from hiring a handful of people in the same fashion. What we can offer right now is $25 per piece up front, and another $25 per piece from the game's profits. In special circumstances we can look at waiving the deferred compensation in favor of a higher up front number, but the total per piece would be lower. Basically, for the right art, we can make something work.
Talent needed:
We need a skilled artist that can create 18 character portraits in total. There will be 9 Generals and 9 Troops. The Generals will be more unique, will be a 128x128 portrait in our game, and need to look 'important'. The Troops will be a bit more cookie cutter looking and will be things like Town Guards, Elven Archers, etc. These Troops will be 48x48 images in our game.
Time Frame:
We are under some time frame constraints, we need to have these 18 character portraits completely done in about 2.5 weeks. So, we are probably going to need someone that can do about a portrait a day or more, depending on how quickly we find someone.

XML Reader Script Needed
I'm looking for someone to make me a XML reader script. It is a very simple concept and project.
I've got a feed which shows soccer match results and the script has to be able to pull info from the feed and put it in simple variables.

On that feed we've got 2 matches. There are usually more matches. I'll explain the first match.
Category: Italy - Serie A (this is one per league.)
Matches Date: Specific dates each week have matches and others dont.

FLASH PROGRAMMER NEEDED FOR FUTURE
Before I start, let me say one thing. If you can't take a few moments to read the this topic in it's entirety, then please don't respond.
This is a project that I won't be starting until a month or two from now. I'm just looking for the right designer ahead of time.
Here's the deal. We're starting up a website that's gonna play our own personal home videos. We want the look of the site to be a 3D scene with a "futuristic/professional" look. We're also looking to charge people to watch our videos, so we're gonna need a way to process payments and also monthly payments. In other words, a shopping cart page(s). The site will also need a way to keep people from downloading/stealing our videos. I want for the people to be able to watch the videos only on the website without being able to download it to their computer. This site is also gonna need to be maintained and updated regularly. I'm thinking weekly or bi-weekly. Somewhere in between the two. But maintenance and updating will be needed. Along with the web design, we're gonna need some graphic design work thrown in the mix too. A layout, a banner, etc. I'm gonna say that I need about 85-90% of the site to be in flash. We'll also need the basic e-mail contact form for customers reach us, the terms, advertising, etc. That's about the basics of it. It would help if this person knew about making money from web traffic and advertising space, but it's not a requirement.
To give you an idea of the kind of site design we're looking for, here's a site that closely resembles our idea: mcdonalds.pl
If you're not capable of doing this type of site design or better, then don't bother.
With all due respect to everyone reading, this project isn't for a rookie. This project is for a highly-skilled veteran. Here's the deal. We're starting up a website that's gonna play our own personal home videos. We want the look of the site to be a 3D scene with a "futuristic/professional" look. We're also looking to charge people to watch our videos, so we're gonna need a way to process payments and also monthly payments. In other words, a shopping cart page(s). The site will also need a way to keep people from downloading/stealing our videos. I want for the people to be able to watch the videos only on the website without being able to download it to their computer. This site is also gonna need to be maintained and updated regularly. I'm thinking weekly or bi-weekly. Somewhere in between the two. But maintenance and updating will be needed. Along with the web design, we're gonna need some graphic design work thrown in the mix too. A layout, a banner, etc. I'm gonna say that I need about 85-90% of the site to be in flash. We'll also need the basic e-mail contact form for customers reach us, the terms, advertising, etc. That's about the basics of it. It would help if this person knew about making money from web traffic and advertising space, but it's not a requirement.

Blogger Design and Blog Emblem
Im writing this post because Im starting a blog with an associate of mine and I need someone to design a blog theme. The blog theme needs to be simple yet seamless with no breaks except for between posts. Im requesting dark colors, black and greys of varying shades with a light grey for text to be visible on a dark background. I have an idea but Im not sure it will be possible. A grey fog or mist to be an interactive portion of my blog covering certain links such as my twitter link images for myself and one other person. I would like the fog to dissipate with when cursour is moved over the If it needs to be done in flash so be it ha but I want it to be minimal. I would love for the banner to have the emblem centered in the middle while still being seamless going down into the blog. I would love to have a twitter banner down the right side with a black bird perched on a black weather vane with three small blocks where each block would have my image, my associates image and the main emblem for the blog each linking to their respective twitter page.

As of right now the blog has no name so the letter that needs to go in the center of the coat of arms has not been decided. If I didn't say it before this will be for blogger so blogspot but it will have its own domain name. Im open to any suggestions and I hope im not being to demanding. Adobe Flex 3 devlepoer needed
First of all this will be a paying job. The right candidate should be able to pull this off quickly and make a descent per hour amount for what little time they spend on it. I have a project that was done in an older version of Flex (early 2 beta). I need to get it updated to Flex 3 as well as a few other minor things done to it.
Overview of current working project:
The project is for a home builder. It is an interactive home layout designer where the content is controlled by .xml files. The potential home buyers use the software to make changes to the layout of the house while interacting with the blueprint. They usually do this under supervisions of a Designer/Realtor. When the app starts, the first thing that happens is the Realtor logs in the client. Then the user chooses the subdivision they are going to be building in. After that, they see a list of houses they can then select to customize. The last screen is where the customization happens and the plans are printed.
The client wants to add more subdivisions to the planner. Currently there is only one screen for the subdivisions and it's full. So a new screen needs to be added so that the user can go back and forth between them.
Changes needed:
* Update from Flex 2 to Flex 3
* Additional subdivision screen
* Possibly get the app to scale to fullscreen properly

Colorist / Background Artist Needed
I'm currently the art director and character artist for a series-in-the-making titled, oriusonline.com "Orius". In a nutshell, the story is about everyone is born with powers and there's an unfortunate heroic trio stopping evil.
Only problem is, production is extremely slow since I'm the only episode artist that is on board right now for the animated online comic. I'm in serious need to get a bg artist and someone with coloring skills so that we can make our deadline in 60 days for the release of the first episode. Since we're trying to pump episodes out, you don't need to do extremely amazing work within the frames unless we're making a promo image or something.
Things would be really streamlined if I could get any help. For payment, I don't have anything to offer as a down payment and there isn't a fixed salary. Our finances are actually split up accordingly among team members based on how much we make from donations and the Orius Store. So in order to gain anything substantial, we're going to have to build a fan base first. And I'd love to be able to do that with you on our team. We have voice actors, music artists and then some. Hopefully you'll join us and compliment Team Orius even further.

artwork for me anymore. So, I am asking for a tall order here,
but am willing to pay for skills that match:
#1) You need, if not knowledge, a love and respect for horses, as this
will be the main focus.
#2) Great skills in Photoshop, Blending, and the flexibility to match an existing artists style closely. Photoshop is used to color various realistic "coats/colorings" of the horses.
#3) Flash skills The final assets involve a Nice accurate outline of specified horse breed, along with importing the pixel coat colors and highlight layers from photoshop, smoothing them, converting to vector, and cleaning up. Along with a Tail animation, Eye animation.
#4) Style: A Rough (OLD) example of art style (the current style is much better). IF this looks like it would be challenging for you, then the job is not for you.
