Start-up company needs a web site

I am in the start-up mode of a new company to custom design and provide fine art prints to my clients. Merchandise will be sold through the web site from on-line orders and those facilitated from Affiliate store front locations. I do not need hosting of the site, nor do I need domain registration.



I need a quote on developing a new web site. It will have 7 main menu tabs [Home / Company / Features / Portfolio / Order / Login / Contact]. The Home page will not have a vertical sub-menu. A vertical sub-menu will be on subsequent pages of the web site pertaining to a particular Menu tab.



The Home page will be set to 900 pixels centered. The Company pages are mostly text based. The Features are text and graphics. The Portfolio pages will include a Gallery Tour where the visitor can keep clicking through the portfolio images, or move on to a certain product theme (teams, pets, etc.).



The Home page will have “Tell a Friend” which goes to a fillable form. Other forms will be Contact Us, and Quote Request. All forms will have captcha numbers and letters so no email address is visible. So basically 3 forms in total.



Will need an Order menu from a product selected, so e-commerce. This should cover; add to cart, file transfer (digital files), shipping, payment and checkout.

NOTE: Client payment is via a secured credit card merchant who will look after adding their code to make this function work during check-out.



I will work with a graphic artist to layout and approve the design of the Home page template, plus 1 additional page beyond the Home page. My graphic artist will design the layout using PhotoShop so I can provide the .psd files.



Phase 1: This is the basic web site with no advanced Content Management System (back-office administration). This is the Front-End application so basically what the visitors to the site will see.



Phase 2: Secured Content Management System which will have a data base and secured Log-in’s for the Client, Affiliate, and company Staff (to share files remotely). The CMS will have a data base with product pricing based on options and sizes selected, and also track Affiliate compensation based on X% of sales generated. The CMS also tracks basic user or client information like contact details.

NOTE: Affiliate must wait for confirmation and administrator approval prior to granting access to the site.



All costs incurred during proposal preparation, or in any way associated with the proposer’s preparation, response, submission, presentation, or oral interviews (if held) shall be the sole responsibility of the proposer and shall not be reimbursed by the requester (me).
