Artist/Animator needed for Flash ga

We have a fighting/dice game combo (think "Super Puzzle Fighter"-type) that is nearly complete. It has multiple game modes, leader boards, character leveling, super powers, etc etc... lots of good stuff. However, we are lacking final art. This is a high-quality project, and we expect the rewards for our efforts to be likewise high. We have allocated sponsorship profits as such:

- Programming: 40%

- Art: 40%

- Sound/Music: 20%

That means if you're able to do all the art for this project, you will be entitled to 40% of all sponsorship profits. However, if, for example, you can do only the backgrounds/ui, but not the characters, we will then have to split that 40% between you and whoever does the rest of the art.

Communication is key. You must read and write english well. You will be expected to keep in contact via email at least twice a week (to give status updates, even if there is no new assets).

Art Tasks:

- Seven characters, each with

-- Portrait (320x480 max)

-- 9 to 12 short anims (most will be < 20 frames)

- Background art (640x480) for:

-- Title screen

-- Character select

-- Game recap

- Arena background (640x266) for each character

- UI art for buttons, menus, displays, dice rolling, etc

A short video of the project (with obviously very temporary, but quality-symbolic art) is available for your viewing here: youtube.com/watch?v=oNb6vyyxstw

The "feel" of the game has not been entirely flushed out. Art style has not been selected. We will entertain anything you wish to share with us.

If you have any questions, or you're interested in applying, please send an email with links to your portfolio or samples of your work (the more, the better) to: gameartist@yamagames.com

Artists, an FGA project has been created here: flashgameart.com/project/178/

For anyone who's unfamiliar with the Sponsorship method of income, I encourage you to go to FlashGameLicense.com and read up on it. They've earned over $4 million in sponsorship money for independent game developers in the past couple years.

So I repeat, this is a for-profit project and you will receive 40% of all profits earned from the sponsorships and sales of the game.

This project is a much higher caliber of most Flash games, and as such, I suspect it will draw a lot of attention (and thus, higher bids) from Sponsors. http://bit.ly/5vsZt5
