Character Artist Needed

I'm Richard the Creative Director in an Independant Online Game project.

REQUIREMENT

===========

In brief we need a character artist to help us draft out various races and characters for the game.

We're interested in an eastern fantasy style, possibly Anime. This sort of thing:

Primarilly we need 5 race designs; some human others humanoid. We will then need these designs fleshing out with additional characters; but that would come a little later down the line.

Ideally we would like an artist who can help us define the main races and possibly take on a lead concept art role long term throughout the project; assisting with art direction and characters.

There is scope for quite a bit of work with us with other art tasks; maybe assistance with things like places, world, armour/weapon styles if thats something you can contribute.

Primarilly for now, its the race designs and then fleshing out main character designs with scope for further stuff down the line.

COMPENSATION

===========

This is an indie project (amateur) who are fortunate enough to have a major engine (licensed). While we don't have a massive budget, we are willing to pay artists in a number of fasions.

So in terms of compensation we can offer a number of things, such as:

1. Payment per piece

2. % Royalties from the game when we sell it

3. In for the long haul payment at intervals

4. A combination of these

Most team members are with us for the long haul, taking an agreed % royalties and are being paid advances periodically when we can.

THE GAME

===========

I'm not going to post too much information about the game here publically, but will reveal reasonable information to anyone who applys.

It's a fantasy multiplayer online game which we plan to release as a commercial product (not free).

We have a business plan and are in the process of designing the game & have the technical expertise to construct it as we are from professional backgrounds.

AGREEMENT

===========

Of course there will be a water right agreement between us and the artist which will identify agreed contribution, agreed compensation and other terms.
