Seeking MidLevel iPhone Developer

Smashing Ideas, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Developer for our Mobile & Devices Group. An ideal candidate for this position should have:



* A mastery of Objective-C (Cocoa Touch API) for iPhone

* Experience using OpenGL ES 1.1 and Interface Builder

* Developed at least one previous iPhone app, currently available for download

* Server-side development experience: PHP, ASPX, CF, Java, SQL, or other

* Experience creating frameworks, templates, and documentation for others to use.

* Passion for learning new programming languages.

* Strong English written and verbal communication skills





We are looking for someone who enjoys being part of the development process from start to finish. A Mobile & Devices Developer at Smashing Ideas will play a role in the project team and their duties will include the following:



* Participate in project brainstorms

* Write technical specifications and documentation

* Be the developer on the project from start to finish

* Self-mange his or her own tasks and time

* Ability to communicate proactively and collaborate with teammates

* Create frameworks, templates, and documentation for other to use

* Flexibility and desire to work on both games and applications

* Be motivated to work on face-paced and highly engineered projects

* Pro-active on expanding and adapting development skills





Ideal

·Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent

·Experience programming in ActionScript 2.0 or 3.0

·Minimum of three years working in Object-Oriented Programming environments
